INFO:

Hey all. I'm stuck on a piece of island in southern Finland, we speak Swedish in this area in case you wonder. Art is my hobby along with forest hiking and gaming. I've produced art as long as I can remember but I never went to art school, I took the path of programming and computer science - it was boring to say the least. When I draw I prefer to use GIMP, SAI and perhaps some Flash CS3. My tool is a Wacom Intuos 5 from 2012 and some cheap pencils, I rarely draw traditional art these days. Please read my Share and Download rules before using any of my art.

Ah, so what have I done lately? Most of it was the usual go-to-work and do-chores-at-home but I've had some good experiences this summer and autumn. My biggest event was in July when I went to see a friend of mine in the UK. I got to do awesome things like: conveyor-band sushi, enjoy the Welsh mountain scenery, get motion sick from trains, waste money at Yankee Candles & Lush and get pee'd on by my friend's rats (still love them tho). Thank you for letting me stay at your place for a week and I greatly appreciate that stereotypical English Breakfast you made, seriously, I could use more of that.

In late August I went to see my grandparents in middle Finland. Everything seemed to be in order, they tried to stuff me with food and went on about their usual business such as watering the garden or go fishing because their cat is spoiled. But he loves to be combed because lotsa hair yo.

In September my father and I drove all across the Åland Islands and checked out various farms too see what offered. We found great amounts of textiles and handcraft but what really interested me was the fresh food. Sure you might be able to get this stuff at local grocery stores but it's waaay more expensive, I'd rather pay the farmers right out of my pocket. I found stuff like turnips, sheep meat, honey, potato crisps, apple juice and beeswax candles. It's totally worth driving around for one day but make sure you do it on the right day, they don't host these kind of farmer events all the time.

So umm yeah what else? I got chased by one of those "creepy clowns" this evening (google if you haven't caught up with USA news). It was dark and I bicycled along this narrow forest path when some random clown dude approached me. He didn't manage to catch me but he did chase me. As I made my way home I stumbled upon a random jogger in some suburban area. I told her not to go into that forest because of said Creeps. She decided to make an emergency call and ran back home, I called the cops as well. About 30 mins later when I arrived at my apartment the cops called me and said they'd caught seven guys... Seven. I had no idea they were that many lurking in the forest. I did hear people scream but I seriously thought there were maybe 3 kids acting dumb. Well look how wrong I was. This event surprised me a lot because this island is usually quite calm. I know what boys are gonna be newspaper material soon, hah

That's all for now ~

Heeey sorry about the late reply, I was travelling ^^'

Let's start off with the next page, it's sitting on my harddrive waiting to be finished. I've spent the last 4 months working to gather enough money for my UK trip. I feel happy to have seen another part of the world :3

It's tricky to explain my drawing process in text, I'll try tho. I use a custom brush called "Square" to draw line art, but it's not really line art xD What you'd consider line art is actually a grey scale painting that had it's white background removed. A single colour layer is then added beneath. By not using layers such as "light", "shadows" or "textures" I'm forced to paint everything in one go. I guess that makes it look all painterly?
